On behalf of Nimesh, i thank all of you who have visited this blog and left messages, I would definately convey the popularity this site is started getting.

Keep comming back and you would be a part of the journey that nimesh has started off on.

Leave comments liberally, all this is going to be a wonderful gift for him when he comes back and goes thru all the comments...

Takeoff from Manali!

Nimesh reached Manali on monday evening and has reported fine.
"So far the experience is of a Honeymoon with the Roads" was what he mentioned "The next phase is going to be more rough roads and steep curves" he concluded. Would be out of mobile network area untill some hours untill he reaches Leh. Would be sending some snaps for the blog once he reaches Leh, where the signal strength is supposed to be better than what he has been witnessing last few days. Has made friends with some friends from Native Ahmedabad, four riders from aapli Mumbai, many more from various states, seems the entire group is sort of a mini national integration!!!

Today, he leaves manali for further uphill "Steep narrow hill roads over Rothang La to Kokhsar then a gradual stretch to Tandi/ Tupchiling" - as quoted on the Royal Enfield site.

Today i am nervous

To make the arrangements for riding gear.
I have yet to complete my shopping.
I am not sure that i will be fully ready on the 24th.
The most important thing is to get the permission for 15 days holidays from my boss.

Only 4 days to go...

24th June is the start date of this grand trip, to be flagged off by none other than Mr. Sunil Shetty, from the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium-New Delhi.

All prepared for the road trip, nimesh has already packed up a lot of stuff in his saddle bags and back-pack.

more later...

Whats This all About???
